The Czech Republic boasts one of the lowest unemployment rates in the EU. It is an industrial powerhouse, home to Skoda and major tech hubs, offering stable employment and high safety standards.
🏰 Heart of Europe
Czechia sits in the middle of the continent, between Germany and Austria. For work, that geography matters less than the plants: automotive suppliers, food factories, construction groups and hotels hire year-round, and they pay in Czech koruna.
Conglomerate no longer recruits for other countries. If you write to us, the offer you receive is a Czech contract — a named vacancy, a city, a shift and a housing rule — not a menu of destinations.
⚙️ Why Czechia?
- Industrial pay: Automotive, engineering and food plants pay a clear monthly rate in koruna, with overtime and allowances written into the offer.
- Safety: Consistently ranked among the top 10 safest countries in the world.
- Quality of Life: Excellent public transport, free healthcare (with insurance), and rich history.
- Employee card: One document that is both the work permit and the residence permit, usually issued for up to two years and renewable.
- Minimum wage 2026: 22,400 CZK gross per month for full-time work, with legal extra pay for overtime, nights and weekends.
🍺 Mentality & Lifestyle
Czechs are reserved but polite. Punctuality is crucial. In factories, strict adherence to safety rules is expected.
💰 Salaries in 2026 (CZK)
Salaries are paid in Czech Korunas. The exchange rate is roughly 1 EUR ≈ 25 CZK.

🏠 Cost of Living
Accommodation in Prague is expensive, but most of our vacancies are in industrial zones (Plzen, Brno, Pardubice) or provide free housing.
- Hostel: Usually 4000-5000 CZK/month (often paid by employer).
- Food: 6000 – 8000 CZK per month.
- Beer: World's best beer for ~40 CZK (€1.60) in a pub.
📑 Visa Process
For non-EU citizens the usual long route is the employee card, often issued for two years and tied to the employer on the contract. Some seats still start on a short-term work visa (about 90 days) and move to the employee card if the plant keeps you. We prepare the file with the employer: invitation, housing confirmation and the appointment. You should not buy a ticket before that file is actually moving.
On arrival you sign the contract, see the room, and meet the coordinator before the first shift. Health insurance is part of legal employment. If the vacancy says the employer pays the room, that is written before you travel. If it says you contribute a fixed amount after month three, that is written too.
Cities we actually staff
Prague and Central Bohemia take construction, precast production, warehouses and hotels. Brno-Černovice is textile. Ostrava is sewing and garments. Plzeň is CNC and engineering. Opava is restaurant kitchens. Karlovy Vary is hotel grounds. České Budějovice needs maintenance technicians. The full list, with a callback on every card, is on the vacancies page.
